Originally from
Pennsylvania I moved to Boston, Massachusetts back in 1986 and have
been photographing birds and other wildlife for about 20 years. I
have been teaching wildlife photography for Mass Audubon
for over 12 years. I
am on the board of directors for Eastern Mass Hawk
Watch where
I serve as their Vice President. I am also on the advisory board
for the Massachusetts Audubon Society and Mass Audubon Visual Arts
Center. I
am past board member for the Brookline Bird Club and past council
member for the Nuttall Ornithological Club. I LOVE the natural world, if it
walks, crawls, flies, swims or slithers.......I’ll photograph
it!
All photographs
appearing on this web site are the property of Shawn Carey. They
may not be downloaded or reproduced in any way without the written
permission of Shawn Carey. If however you can get my grandmother to
agree to let you use one of my photos then that’s good enough for
me, I always do what my grandmother tells me.
