Migration Productions is a team of audio-visual specialists brought together to create the highest quality multimedia presentations about birds, bird watchers (or "Birders") and other natural history topics.

Jim Grady
Jim is a multimedia producer and divides his time between non-linear editing, motion graphics and interactive CD-ROM programming. Jim co-founded Migration Productions with Shawn Carey in 1996 and is responsible for all multi-image programming and video editing on the "Birders' Exchange" video.

Don Crockett
Don began birding in the mid-70's. He started capturing birds on video in 1995 and has shot over 500 hours of bird footage since then. He also is the creator of the popular birding web site The Virtual Birder. Don shot almost all the bird footage in the "Birders' Exchange" and "Looking Skyward" videos. He also shot some of the location B-roll in "Looking Skyward".

Shawn Carey
Shawn got a jump start photographing birds in the late 80's and hasn't slowed down since. He started sharing his bird photography skills with others by teaching workshops in 1997 for Mass Audubon. He is currently the Vice President of Eastern Mass Hawk Watch and serves on the advisory boards of the Massachusetts Audubon's Visual Arts Center and the Nuttall Club. Shawn co-founded Migration Productions in 1996 with Jim Grady and the two have produced all its productions. Shawn also provides almost all digital photography used in the productions.

John Sutherland

Chris Duval
Chris is an accomplished musician and composer. Chris composed and created the soundtracks for all of Migration Productions multi-image slide presentations and "Looking Skyward".

Fred Bouchard
Fred has been an avid birder since the mid-70's. Fred wrote the script for "Looking Skyward" and the Birders' Exchange video. He also writes about jazz music, wine and travel, and teaches writing and literature at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Visit Fred's web site.
