Sadly there are people that feel no (or very little) compassion for other living creatures and what wild animals go through or need to survive. For these people it’s all about them and to hell with wildlife or at least the wildlife that gets in their way or stops them for doing what they feel they have a right to. As humans we have a choice to make, do we believe that protecting not just birds but all wildlife and habitat that these animals need are important to us? I would hope we do but what about those that feel different? Is is possible we can find common ground somewhere? If so can both sides even have a rational discussion?
With all this in mind Plymouth Beach looks and feels to me to be a place that has some positive things going for it it terms of protecting not only the beach but the birds that very much need this special place. I look forward to spending more time on Plymouth Beach this year and for many years to follow.
